Black History Month Celebration 2026

Our school’s Black History Month assembly included various performances that represented the culture and history of African Americans. There were several performances: an elegant dance, a hip-hop performance created by black students, where they expressed pride in their identity, and a singing performance that honored their culture. There were also some skits and presentations showcasing the different hairstyles black people wear, and why certain words shouldn’t be used by people outside of the community. In addition to that, the stories of important black historical figures and their lasting impact on this world were also told. Overall, this assembly helped remind and teach fellow students about the importance of respect, culture, and identity, of black people.

Our school hosted a Hispanic Heritage Assembly in the auditorium. It was a vibrant celebration of culture, history, and community. The event featured student performances, cultural displays, and a speaker who spoke out about the importance of representation and pride in Hispanic identity. The assembly showcased the diversity within the Hispanic community and encouraged students to celebrate their roots.
