Cesar Chavez Celebration 2025

In March 2025, students filled the auditorium to honor the legacy of Cesar Chavez, a civil rights leader who sparked change with a voice of reason. There were dancers dressed in vibrant cultural colors, expressing pride in their identity and people, along with guitarists, a lively band, and a guest speaker who spoke about the importance of honoring César Chávez’s message. Even with all the changes in society and social norms, this event proved that culture is never lost—it continues to thrive in the pride of its people.

Black History Month Celebration 2026

Our school’s Black History Month assembly included various performances that represented the culture and history of African Americans. There were several performances: an elegant dance, a hip-hop performance created by black students, where they expressed pride in their identity, and a singing performance that honored their culture. There were also some skits and presentations showcasing the different hairstyles black people wear, and why certain words shouldn’t be used by people outside of the community. In addition to that, the stories of important black historical figures and their lasting impact on this world were also told. Overall, this assembly helped remind and teach fellow students about the importance of respect, culture, and identity, of black people.
